Invitation Wintermeeting 2014

Dear all,

Some of you with busy agenda asked us to communicate as early as possible about our activities for next year.
For that reason we would like to inform you already in October about the meetings 2014.
Look over the response, Wintermeeting 2014 shall be organized on Saturday 15th of February 2014.
Our first plan, hiring a historical location with dinning and low budgetsleeping is possible – we found a ‘landgoed’ in the middle of nowhere with a huge kitchen & livingroom, 24 berths and open fire place for about € 750 – but………. this project means a lot of work for Joost and me to organize, at the least because we have to prepare and cook our own meal and breakfest (all there is selfsupporting, you only hire the old ‘landgoed’). So, with your permission, we have decided to be more practical, also pleasing Klaus and Elgin to travel the most easily way from Cuxhaven to Holland and back home.

Therefore place and location will be a fine restaurant in Amsterdam, by example Chez Richard (French kitchen in the Scheldestraat) or Edel (International seasonal/organic kitchen in Oud West). If you may have a better suggestion, please let us know: by preference it must be a small & cosy restaurant that we can engage only for the members of the Alcyone Circle.
For that reason first at all it’s necessary to know the exact number of guests.
Please let us know a.s.a.p. you will join the party and with how many persons for dinner.
After that we’ll inform you all about the restaurant and borrel/dinnertime we blocked.

At the Wintermeeting we’ll also discuss the plans for the Rally Kornwerderzand- Baltic Sea, starting on Monday 7th of July 2014. If you’re willing by help organize this Rally or if you may have other suggestions for a relaxing sailingtrip to other area, please let us know a.s.a.p.
