REMINDER
Dear friends,
First of all we inform you that mother van ‘t Hull (almost 93 years old) passed away and was buried last Wednesday in closed family-circle. Our condolence goes to Joost and family.
We informed you early May about our special Summermeeting in Drachten in observance of Alcyone I Caecilia will floating out after 6 years of intensive restauration and renovation. Next week the new engine will be installed and the carpenter will be ready about one or two weeks. After that the ship get her new rigging. With pleasure we invite all of you coming to Friesland to celebrate the launching with bubbles and local titbits.

Caecilia with Arjen & Rienkje van Boekel, Sanne & Rob Smit; Vrouwezand with Marco & Maria Eichhorn; Cormoraan with Erik & Inge van Boekel; Ida Scheltema, Fons & Helene Valentijn; Adriana van Texel in shed with Peter Hoogenberk; Zwarte Hond in shed with Casper Pronk; Harmonie especially from Cuxhaven with Klaus & Elgin Gerdts, Frauke, Wiebke, Manu, Jorah and Wiebke’s baby; Joost van ‘t Hull without Vita Nova.
Bert Glazenburg-who helps me a lot with painting, insulation and so on- is sailing now with his friend David in the Botnische Golf going North, so he cannot be present. Dirk & Marieke van Slooten are on holiday then, so also Sayonara cannot be in Drachten.
Please let us know within 10 days if you will be able joining the party with or without Gunning-yacht and the number of dinning-guests.
If you will sail to Drachten (what would be great) we’ll make a reservation on the quai at the shipyard.
